For one night only, a modern downtown venue in downtown Columbia was turned into an enchanted fairytale escape: a ball inspired by the regency era of 1800s England.  Patrons flocked to the dance floor to waltz, many donning floor-length gowns or suites, masks, wigs and tiaras. The ceiling and tables were decorated with flowers and butterflies. In the corner, a string orchestra welcomed guests into the ballroom playing instrumental versions of modern pop songs.
